Our school, a building that has been in the community for nearly a century, is located in the heart of Royal Oak, just steps from downtown. Royal Oak Middle School is an International Bachelorette school where students are encouraged to be inquirers, international collaborators, and inspirers of a more peaceful world. Our staff promotes cooperation, empathy, and curiosity, creating an environment for students that is safe and nurturing. As a result of these efforts, the students of Royal Oak Middle School are balanced, caring, and forward-thinking. ROMS would not be the successful school it is today without these talented and dedicated team members who are always focused on doing what is best for students.
Here at ROMS, we celebrate a wide variety of extra-curricular activities, including fall, winter, and spring athletics as well as 30 inclusive clubs that spark the interest of many Bulldog students. Students are encouraged to be risk-takers and explore new interests through the myriad programs offered.
The students and staff at Royal Oak Middle School know and appreciate the strength and value of the Royal Oak community. The Bulldog experience would not be possible without the support of our families and partnerships with local businesses and organizations.
